Aprill Winney (Director):

After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with her degree in Theatre, Aprill moved to Chicago to work in its thriving theatre scene. For four years Aprill worked as a dramaturg for theatres such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, Naked Eye and Uma Productions. It was in Chicago where Aprill was offered her first film opportunity with the short "Brushfires". "Brushfires", produced by Splitpillow Films, was an official selection at the Phoenix International, Philadelphia, Seattle and Chicago Gay and Lesbian Film Festivals. Soon after, Aprill moved to Los Angeles and became a script supervisor to learn more about the film making process. In May of 2006 she signed on to direct the romantic feature film, "Counting Backwards". "Counting Backwards" premiered to sold out crowds and added screenings at the 2007 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and proceeded to win Most Triumphant Film at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and Best Feature, Best Director and Best Actor at the Chashama Film Festival in New York City. For this film she also won Best Director at the Los Angeles Femme Film Festival.


Ian McGlocklin Sinclair (Cinematographer):

Ian attended Emerson College's Film program and graduated with honors. Remaining in Boston, he became a lighting technician and gaffer in New England and New York City. He took his skills learned as a gaffer and began to build a path to cinematography by shooting short films. His work on the short film, "Gabriel y Gato" won the 2003 Chrysler Million-Dollar Film Competition. Ian was Director of Photography for Video Arts Studios in Fargo, ND. There he shot commercials for clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Community First Bank and North Dakota State University (Addy Award winner). Ian moved to Los Angeles and was the Director of Photography for the indie feature film, "Corporate Affairs" with Breckin Myer. He was the Director of Photography for the indie feature film, "Resurgent" (2008 Santa Barbara International Film Festival), Arnold Chun's coming of age feature film, "The Invincible Scripture" and most recently, "Make the YuleTide Gay" for Guest House Films starring Adamo Ruggiero.

Brette Goldstein (Casting Director):

Brette's independent films include "Buffalo Bushido" (witth Jesse Martin), "White Cure", "Hello, Lonesome", "A Small Plague", "A Pretty Girl" and "Live at Five" (with Dylan Baker). Her films have been featured in almost every major film festival including Sundance, Toronto and Cannes.

Brian Rzepka (Production Designer):

Brian was the art director for "Frozen River" starring Melissa Leo. Other film credits include "Made for Each Other" with George Segal and "The Alphabet Killer" with Timothy Hutton. He is currently a production designer in residence for The Sundance Institute 2009.

Stephani Lewis (Costume Design):

Stephani's film credits include costume designer for "Sting Ray Sam" and assistant costume designer for "Cold Souls" with Paul Giamatti and "Sugar" written by Ann Bowden and Ryan Fleck.

Marc Jackson (Composer):

Marc has written songs for feature film and television networks such as ABC, NBC/Universal, HBO, E! Television, Disney Channel, Lifetime and A&E, as well as for a number of feature films and theme songs, such as the main title song, "Come Out" for the LOGO show "U.S. of Ant". Marc also wrote a replacement theme song for the popular television series "Life Goes On" exclusively for the DVD release. He scored the feature film, "Counting Backwards" and the short film, "Slice" starring Vinney Pastore and Kathrine Narducci. He served as the director of music and staff composer for Zoo Street Music for four years and was executive director on "Tourgasm". He currently resides in LA.
