"The brother-sister relationship burns brightly... Don Scime, who portrayed David at The New York International Fringe Festival, imbues the radio host with an endearing, gawky shyness. He does a particularly nice job with the transformations preceding the "gay talk" segments. As the actor's posture straightens and his face lights up, we can see that David on-air is vastly more confident than in private life."                        --The Washington Post

"Touching and funny... A remarkable achievement... See it now."
--New York Blade

"Paints a bittersweet portrait of a young man's journey from self-loathing to self-acceptance."
--American Theatre Web

"An excellent piece of theatre." --New York Theatre.Com

"Sibling Revelry! in 'David Dance' love defies life, death... Thought provoking... First-rate performances." -- Gay City News

Teresa Kelsey and Don Scime
"We had the privilege of seeing 'The David Dance'. I admire the author's ability to deal with the subject in such a creative & sensitive manner, and his ability to create seamless threads from one scene to another, from one time period to another. I hope this play will become available to a greater audience during the year. What a beautiful play -- what a wonderful experience. Thank you."  --(anonymous) audience member
